Over the years many have talked nostalgically about the ‘good old days' at the legendary Cheltenham night spot, The Prom Club, but now in 2009 everyone is still talking about the Prom - but this time the talk is all about its new look, its new style and its exciting uptown step into a new 21st century existence.
The club has new owners, Alex Clark, who runs Cheltenham's leading lettings agency which bears his name, and Angus Steel, owner two of the town's leading eating places. Merlot in Ormond Terrace and Burger Burger in the Brewery Centre.
Former owner Robin Taylor also still has an interest in the club.
Says Alex, "The Prom Club has been at the heart of nightlife here in Cheltenham since way back. We believe the ‘all new' Prom Club Lounge and Bar is on its way back to the fore again and this time we know its going to be better than ever as a very special, up to the minute 21st century leisure venue."
